The Ithaca College Alumni Association and the New England regional group invite you to join other alumni, parents, and friends for an enchanting evening under the stars at Tanglewood. Legendary composer John Williams (of Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Jaws
fame) will lead the Boston Pops Orchestra in a celebration of the music of the silver screen on the evening of Saturday, August 2.
We'll gather at 6:00 p.m. on the right lawn facing the Koussevitsky Music Shed for a potluck picnic. Please bring a dish to pass; the Ithaca College Alumni Association will provide a selection of Finger Lakes wine and other assorted goodies. The concert will begin at 8:30 p.m. -- don't forget your blanket or lawn chair!

Today Tanglewood draws over 350,000 visitors each year. The "Film Night" led by composer John Williams -- who served as principal conductor of the Boston Pops from 1980 to 1993 and is now its laureate conductor -- is one of the venue's most popular annual events.
