Webinar: Finding Your Inner Warren Buffet

Do you know a teenager who's fascinated by money and its investment? This summer, for the first time, IC's Summer College for High School Students is offering a course in capital market investments, taught by Jason Muenzen '02. Jason is the director of IC's Center for Trading and Financial Instruments (aka "the trading room") and worked on Wall Street for over a dozen years.

I Love IC Week: Kick Back to Give Back

Teams will compete in a "Minute to Win it" type contest. We hope to have 20 teams of 5 people each. Cost per team is $25. Team can pay as individuals or be sponsored by a student organization or department. Winning team will donate prize money to their selected local non-profit organization.

I Love IC Week: Looking Back, Moving Forward

Five alumni (one from each school) who have graduated within the last five years will discuss how they made the most out of their time at IC both in and out of the classroom, what the transition to becoming and "Alumnus" was like, and why they stay connected to IC now.

I Love IC Week: IC Kindness Day

In collaboration with IC Pay It Forward, STAT will table in the various locations across campus. Students will be able to draw from the "bowl of kindness" for themselves. They will also be able to send a note of gratitude to a faculty or staff member who has helped them in some way.

I Love IC Week: Get the Scoop & Gratitude Day

In collaboration with Donor Relations and the IC Annual Fund, STAT will host it's fourth annual ice cream social where students can write a thank you note to a donor to the annual fund and eat a free ice cream social at the same time!

 There will be games, music and "celebrity scoopers" on hand to help out.  Students will also be able to video a short message of gratitude to alumni that will be sent via email. This year, all faculty and staff donors will be invited with a special spoon to join us in the ice cream sundae fun.  Students can also check in on their "Traditions Challenge" progress.

Ithaca College's physical therapy department is planning a reception for our alumni at the American Physical Therapy Association combined sections meeting, held this year in Anaheim, California, from Wednesday, February 17, through Saturday, February 20, 2016.

Emmy Award-winning sports anchor Bruce Beck ’78 of WNBC-TV in New York City will interview Stew Leonard ’77, president and CEO of Stew Leonard’s Farm Fresh Foods and Stew Leonard’s Wines, about career choices and challenges in his career.
